Wests League Club originated in 1972 as the original home of the Campbelltown City Kangaroos and has been long known as the Home of Sport in the Macarthur region. A family-friendly Club offering a unique experience with multiple facilities including seven bars, five function rooms, four dining outlets and four outdoor terraces.Wests amalgamated with the Tennis Club in 2007 and effectively turned it into a successful operation, where members have access to multiple tennis courts, a tennis shop, function room and a popular Chinese Restaurant. The Tennis Club offers an assortment of tennis competitions and games to all ages and skill levels including social tennis, hot shots, cardio tennis, and school holiday clinics.Following the successful conquest of the Tennis Club, Wests amalgamated with Lakeside Golf Club Camden, located on Raby Road in Gledswood Hills. Lakeside is classified as the best public golf course in the South West and was winner of the 2019 NSW Metropolitan Golf Club of the Year. Lakeside Golf Club is a par 72 course of 6,400 meters and the only course in Sydney to be designed by five times British Open Winner Pete Thomson. Also in 2007, Wests amalgamated with the Country Club, located in Gledswood Hills. Country Club Gledswood Hill and now offers a freshly renovated venue and sophisticated and modern club experience for our members. The Country Club is a fully licensed venue and now offers a unique dining experience, a platinum TAB & sports bar, beer garden, alfresco area and a small function room.
