Today Sandnes Garn AS is the largest manufacturer of handknitting yarn in Northern Europe with a state of the art production plant at Foss-Eikeland just outside of Sandnes. Yearly the factory produces 760 tonnes of yarn (15 million balls) and 45 unique yarn qualities. The company has a strong focus on trends and design and the design department generates some 400 designs (knitting patterns) every year. Sandnes Garn AS has a turn over of NOK 260 million and employs app.100 people. Awarded Business of the year 2014 in the Stavanger region.
