PISES (Procedural Iterative Stellar Evolution Simulation) is an interactive, exploratory simulation of the cosmos.  PISES encourages visual, ambient education by allowing users to intuitively traverse a randomized, iterative galaxy.  Users can step from one star system to the next, explore distant worlds, discover fantastic alien cultures, and even peer backwards through time to grasp at an understanding of the sweeping evolution of the cosmos, and to consider humanity's cosmic role.
