LANDIK aims to act as a platform to gather people who are interested and passionate about Sarawak's crafts and skills. Despite our richness in culture and tradition, it can't be denied that a lot of those who are active in Sarawak crafts and skills come from the older generations. Although souvenirs with "Sarawak" motifs and wording can be easily found in the handicraft center, there is a scarcity of hands-on learning opportunities for creating Sarawak crafts for the public.We are currently based in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia and we are organising workshops weekly, partnering with local crafters/individuals as our workshop instructors. All the materials needed are provided in each workshop. Landik means "Skillful" in the Iban language and we hope those who attended our workshops become Landik in creating Sarawak crafts.
