Mpact remains South Africa's largest collector of recyclable packaging, having collected 594 million/kg of recyclables (paper, glass, beverage cans, plastic, and liquid board packaging) from pre- and post-consumer streams in 2023. By closing the loop on paper and plastic, we not only reduce the amount of material going to landfill, but also promote the local beneficiation of raw materials and support the development of SMMEs.
