The primary hospitals within the health service are Rockhampton, Gladstone, Emerald, and Biloela together with many smaller rural units transferring patients through to Rockhampton for specialist care and investigation.\\CQ is home to CQUniversity a progressive dual sector Uni/ TAFE with many quality public and private schools offering people education choices.
