The Native Land Conservancy, Inc. (NLC) is the first Native American run land conservation group established east of the Mississippi. We focus on perpetuating and preserving indigenous cultural lifeways through land rescue. Presently there are four tribal groups represented on our Board of Directors. The NLC is a national 501(c)3 which currently holds title to 64 acres, protects 811 acres through conservation restrictions, and 460 acres through cultural respect easements.
