Dedicated exclusively to outdoor power for 50+ years, ECHO is a leader in the development and manufacturing of commercial-grade outdoor power equipment, providing gas- and battery-powered tools with the highest level of performance, quality, and reliability for both professional landscapers and homeowners alike. Founded in 1972, ECHO has been a pioneer in the market, revolutionizing the landscape industry by inventing the world's first backpack blower, the PB-9 in 1975 plus the world's first handheld blower, the PB-200 in 1978, and we've been credited with many other world firsts in outdoor power equipment solutions ever since. Over the decades, our product offering has expanded to include chainsaws, string trimmers, brushcutters, edgers, backpack and handheld leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, pole saws, and more. With our continued growth, we established our present-day Americas' corporate headquarters in Lake Zurich, IL, and our campus now houses over 700,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, and office facilities, allowing us to manufacture over 200 different whole-good items and 17,000 aftermarket products. At ECHO, our goal is to build upon our legacy of innovation by continuing to offer high-quality outdoor power products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers across a wide range of applications, while also providing superior service, supporting our people, and maintaining our commitment to sustaining nature and the environment.
