The Roanoke Valley Collective Response to the Opioid and Addiction Crisis (RVCR) mission is to re-chart the course and consequences of substance use disorder in our community—not only preventing but ensuring that there are always pathways to healthy and sustainable living for those affected by addiction. Launched in September 2018, the Collective Response is a multi-sector approach working across systems to find new and effective strategies to solve the opioid and addiction crisis across the Roanoke Valley. RVCR members span law enforcement, Emergency Medical Services, healthcare, local and state government, education, community support organizations, faith community, business community, and individuals and families personally touched by addiction.
